With her passion for hunting and her fun-loving spirit, fourteen year old Adriana Armstrong of Elizabethtown, Illinois is already making quite a name for herself in the outdoor world.  Adriana currently holds the record for the youngest girl to complete a turkey grand slam in one season at barely 7 years old. Adriana has been the subject of several articles including an article entitled “Youngest Grand Slam” which can be seen on several websites and in magazines.  She has appeared on 6 nationally aired shows such as SHE’s Beyond the Lodge, Cabela’s Memories in the Field, and, most recently, Legacy Trails.  Adriana has also been a co-host for the Kids Gone Hunting DVD’s.

Adriana has taken turkeys in 5 states while traveling with her parents, Darrick and Susan, and her big sister, Alli.  Adriana started hunting at the age of 5.  At the age of 6 she took her first whitetail deer and turkey.  Her big sister, Alli, was there cheering her on all the way.    To date, Adriana has taken 27 turkeys, including one with her bow, 18 whitetail deer, an elk with her muzzleloader, a mountain lion in Colorado with a .243, and a black bear in British Columbia with a .270.  Her biggest buck yet is a 155 inch 11 point.  Adriana has also taken four other nice bucks ranging from the 130’s to mid 150’s.  She loves shooting her bow and is looking forward to taking a deer during archery season. She also placed 4th in the S3DA 2016 national archery tournament.   Adriana has already been recruited as a guest shooter at Southeastern Illinois College.

Adriana enjoys being outside as much as possible.  She loves to ride horses and four-wheelers and playing with all the animals on the farm.  She enjoys fishing, shooting, and getting one up on her big sister, Alli.  Adriana is also an accomplished gymnast.  Even though Adriana keeps quite busy with all her activities, she has maintained a straight A average throughout elementary and middle school. She is now in her first year of high school and maintains a straight A average as well as being involved in school groups such as scholar bowl, student council and FFA.

All of Adriana’s hunts have been captured on video and are featured on her family’s series of DVD’s called Armstrongs Outdoors and will soon be aired on a new television show, Grace Camo and Lace in 2017.
